And just like that, it’s the end of the year.
November was a rollercoaster of a month. We started off with a memorial service for my grandpa, and although it was for a sad reason, it was so great to be surrounded by so many loving family members and friends.
Tony and I went to a chili cook off at a friend’s house, and Tony clearly won with his vegetarian chili. Seriously, I ate so much I almost threw up.
The Grand Tour premiered and it was wonderful! For those of you who don’t know what that is, we can’t be friends anymore. (Just kidding. But please educate yourself here.)
Tony and I went to a concert at First Avenue for the first time! We saw Starfucker and they were really good, despite me being thrown off by their name.
Tony managed to get the world’s greatest ever rental car for my dad, which you should definitely read about.
Thanksgiving was a fantastic long weekend! On Thursday we had Thanksgiving at Tony’s parents house, filled with lots of food straight from their garden. My parents came up to Minneapolis on Friday, and the Minneapolis-eans showed them around all the cool things this city has to offer! Then, the whole Kortbein gang + Tony went shopping at MOA the day after Black Friday, which was mostly just a lot of my family getting distracted by various things.
I felt very crafty one day and decided to create my own Christmas decorations. We also bought a cute artificial tree! So festive.
Last but certainly not least, Tony had his last day as a service writer at Luxury. He’s looking forward to wrenching again, starting December 5th!
But there’s still one more month in 2016 to review, so stay tuned for what happens next!
