In one week I’ll be headed to Colorado for a ski/snowboard trip (or for me, a drinking and shopping trip), and in March I’m headed down to Florida for a race/beach trip! With all this traveling, I need something to help me keep track of flights, hotel and car rentals, and what to pack! I’ve compiled a list of my favorite apps to help me do all these things are more. Check it out and don’t forget to let me know your favorite way to keep track of travel plans!
TripCase: This is a great overall travel app to keep track of flight, hotel, and car information for multiple trips. Each trip is separate, so it’s easy to see all the specifics for your individual travel plans.
Airbnb: Why would you rent a plain, boring hotel room when you can rent a cabin in the mountains, or a penthouse?!
Turo: Like an Airbnb for cars, Turo lets you rent cars from their owners. This means you can likely get something far more unique for a similar price. My favorite part is that you pick the exact car you want, so you don’t end up with “something similar” to the car you actually wanted. I rented a Ford Flex with AWD for Colorado, and am looking forward to renting a fun convertible for Miami!
Lyft: Parking at the airport is almost more expensive than the flight itself, so it’s much easier to have someone else drive you.
Google Keep: I use this to keep track of everything I need to pack for each trip, so I don’t forget pajamas yet again!
Google Maps: For finding the best breweries, coffee shops, and things to do in new cities.
