With Every End Comes a New Beginning

I know I’m a few days late with the month in review! It’s been a very long last couple of weeks. For those of you who don’t know, my grandpa passed away at the end of October after a long battle with cancer. Thankfully, he didn’t suffer and wasn’t in pain. We all miss him so incredibly much, but we know he’s always with us. Tony and I spent the last 2 weekends in La Crosse, and it was so great to get together with everyone, even if the circumstances weren’t what we would have hoped for. With every ending there is a new beginning, and my family believes that rather than death being an ending, it’s a beginning to a new experience.

Thankfully, there were lots of positive things that happened during October as well!

Tony and I adopted a cat!! Her name is Luna and she is the cutest thing ever. Just look at her!

We visited apple orchards and I was my very best white girl.

We visited new coffee shops and brunch places. I even helped write a blog for Heritage! http://morriesheritage.com/brunch-guide-2016-minneapolis-edition/

We visited Baraboo for a day to take pictures of our cars in the gorgeous fall leaves.

Tony and I went to a very fancy gala dinner, where we ate deconstructed Soup. (Yes, that’s a real thing.)

Layne and I finally went to a Ben Rector concert that we bought tickets for in June!!

October was full of time spent with family and friends, and I’m so lucky to have all these amazing people in my life! Here’s to November, may it be just as full of love!

Falling for September

September is one of my favorite months, because that means fall is here! Hooray for fall! *grabs my PSL, Uggs and sits in a pile of leaves*

We went to multiple weddings, looking as fabulous as ever.

Went to Duluth twice, and was very let down when the hot air balloon festival was canceled. img_3044

Celebrated our 1 year anniversary!😍 img_3107

My dad didn’t get swept away by a hurricane (this could probably be a recurring event).

Visited more breweries because Wisconsin (this is definitely a recurring event).img_3045

Tony and I got to drive two very fabulous, very expensive cars to an airport hanger. img_3089

I started full time, not intern status!

Tony started his new job as a service advisor at the luxury dealership and hangs out with rich people all day.

As per usual, I took fancy hipster coffee pictures.img_3110

It was national drink beer day and national coffee day, and I absolutely participated in both. 🍻 ☕️

Toms had a warehouse sale and I got so excited that I went two days in a row.

There’s only 3 months left of 2016 and I don’t really know what to do with myself. I’m looking forward to finally doing fall activities like pumpkin patches and apple orchards and I’ve already started drinking all the pumpkin spice things!

One Month Down, 11 To Go…

January has been a hectic month for me. I’ve been very busy being CEO of a multi-million dollar company, taking care of my eight cats and trying to decide which color Audi R8 I want to drive that day…oh wait…I’ve only done those things in my dreams. But here’s a quick recap of how my month went while I was busy not winning the Powerball:

I spent the first few days of 2016 in Minneapolis with my boyfriend, who may or may not have had to carry me home on New Years Eve…

Verizon sent me my favorite thing I’ve tested for them and then subsequently made me send it back. 😫 (Ugh I know, life is rough.)

My favorite instagram account reposted my photo.

I took some super hipster photos and put them on instagram.

 I painted an apartment.

I was reunited with my best friend and boyfriend on the same day.

I got hired at Caribou Coffee on the same day I took this!

So overall, January was a pretty good start to what I think will be a great 2016! What happened to the rest of you in the beginning of 2016?
