BREAKING: A White Girl Loves Fall

Here’s a huge surprise to everyone: I am a white girl who loves fall. I know. But let’s move past that, because I want to talk about this, okay? Are we good?

The leaves have started changing and pumpkin spice lattes have been out for WEEKS. There isn’t enough time in the day for me to enjoy all the wonderful fall activities, so I’ve put together so many lists of things to do in fall, why I love it and what to look forward to. Because who doesn’t love a good list? And even more, who doesn’t love fall?!Read More »

With Every End Comes a New Beginning

I know I’m a few days late with the month in review! It’s been a very long last couple of weeks. For those of you who don’t know, my grandpa passed away at the end of October after a long battle with cancer. Thankfully, he didn’t suffer and wasn’t in pain. We all miss him so incredibly much, but we know he’s always with us. Tony and I spent the last 2 weekends in La Crosse, and it was so great to get together with everyone, even if the circumstances weren’t what we would have hoped for. With every ending there is a new beginning, and my family believes that rather than death being an ending, it’s a beginning to a new experience.

Thankfully, there were lots of positive things that happened during October as well!

Tony and I adopted a cat!! Her name is Luna and she is the cutest thing ever. Just look at her!

We visited apple orchards and I was my very best white girl.

We visited new coffee shops and brunch places. I even helped write a blog for Heritage! http://morriesheritage.com/brunch-guide-2016-minneapolis-edition/

We visited Baraboo for a day to take pictures of our cars in the gorgeous fall leaves.

Tony and I went to a very fancy gala dinner, where we ate deconstructed Soup. (Yes, that’s a real thing.)

Layne and I finally went to a Ben Rector concert that we bought tickets for in June!!

October was full of time spent with family and friends, and I’m so lucky to have all these amazing people in my life! Here’s to November, may it be just as full of love!
